Experience Silence Is Loud, the acclaimed debut studio album from British producer, DJ, singer and songwriter Nia Archives. Released in 2024 through HIJINXX / Island Records, the album takes the explosive energy of jungle and drum & bass and combines it with a much broader palette of Britpop, indie rock, Motown, alternative pop and old-school hardcore influences.
Working closely with producer and songwriter Ethan P. Flynn, Nia Archives set out to create something more song-focused than her earlier releases while retaining the breakbeats and frenetic rhythms at the heart of her sound. Across the record she explores loneliness, relationships, family, navigating her twenties and the emotional power of silence, creating an album that works far beyond the dancefloor.
Featuring standout tracks including "Silence Is Loud," "Cards on the Table," "Crowded Roomz," "Forbidden Feelingz," "Unfinished Business," "F.A.M.I.L.Y" and "So Tell Me…," the album moves between euphoric jungle and deeply personal songwriting. The title track itself was inspired by Nia's unconditional love for her younger brother, while the album draws musical inspiration from everything from Britpop and Motown to indie and alternative rock.
